Today could be the Day

All signs point to Mr. Grier being outta here…sources tell this campaign he’s been in San Diego since yesterday and could very well ink his john hancock on the paperwork today.

A special called meeting of the San Diego School Board is set for 4pm ET this afternoon to make the announcement of its new school superintendent.

Today’s coverage from the N&R, the HPE, VoicesofSanDiego.org, and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Stay tuned…

  1. In case anyone from the San Diego school system is lurking: Terry Grier is an oustanding administrator and would be a very welcome addition to any school organization. San Diego should consider themselves lucky if they can land Mr. Grier.

  2. John, I’ve had a lot of San Diego lurkers lately (and I welcome you all).

If it happens, let’s wish him well. This is an election year and we need to get focused real quick.

  3. Oh yeah, right….. it will be sad to see our fine Superintendent go. Any system that is lucky enough to get him is just, well, uh..really lucky. Good luck Terry in your new endeavors. San Diego will not be the same after your arrival. And really, since you’re already there, please just go ahead and stay. There’s no need to come back and wrap things up here. We’ll be just fine–really.

  4. And, let’s not forget Dot – Terry’s regime just wouldn’t be the same without Dot by his side. Surely San Diego can find a spot for her too!
