Clueless Cookie Strikes Again

Another example of out-of-touch Board members…

Election night brought together school board member Kris Cooke and [GCS Board at-large candidate Michael] McKinney, who it turned out she knew – at least by sight.

“What are you doing here?” Cooke asked McKinney.

“I’m running for Board of Education.” McKinney responded, evidently puzzled.

“Are you?” said Cooke. “I didn’t know. I never put the face with the name.”

Sheesh!

  1. So Cookie votes without researching the candidates. That’s a fine example of our current board members concern for the children of the county….or, did Cookie even vote?

  2. Oh, I see that Smith High was under lock-down. Deena will be so proud that her school, once again, makes headlines.

  3. Cookie voted just the way Dottie told her to.

  4. I think voting should be like driving–you should have to pass a test to obtain the privilege.

  5. I think the school board members should have to pass the 5th grade EOC’s and have their scores made public.

That would get rid of at least half of them right away.

  6. You meen they ain’t smarter then a 5th grader?

  7. Would you give them $457 Million of your money to spend wisely and prudently?
